Atulya Gurha

Clinical Psychologist

Atulya is a Clinical Psychologist, registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), having completed MPhil in Clinical Psychology from NIMHANS, Bengaluru. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Mumbai. She has completed her Masters and Bachelors degrees in Psychology from University of Delhi. She has previously worked as a Psychotherapist at Ambedkar University Delhi and as Senior Coach at emotional wellness startup providing digital solutions to people experiencing stress, anxiety and depression. She is trained in neuropsychological assessments and rehabilitation, psychological testing including personality and assessment of cognitive functions. She has provided psychotherapy and counselling services to children, adolescents and adults suffering from various emotional and behavioral issues. Her interests include forensic psychology, women’s emotional health, and cross-cultural psychology.

Dr. Ishhita

Clinical Psychologist, M. Phil

Ishhita is an RCI registered clinical psychologist, with an M. Phil. from Manipal University along with a Masters and Bachelors in Psychology from University of Delhi. She is trained to work with children, adolescents as well as adults. She has worked extensively with children of varying ages and cultural backgrounds, along with parents and has alleviated a diverse range of complaints and conditions. With her training and experience, she is equipped to deal with a variety of cases including clinical as well as interpersonal. She believes in the humanistic approach to therapy and uses an eclectic blend of therapies with her clients, with specific emphasis on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Art Therapy. She is known to communicate effectively with patients and adapt therapeutic techniques tailored for the individuals’ needs and personality. She is also an astute trainer and has conducted workshops for parents and children alike on a wide range of topics in schools as well as the clinical setting.


Dr. Soamya Arora

Consultant Psychologist & Mindfulness Expert

Dr. Soamya has a master’s degree in Applied Psychology and a Doctorate with specialization in mindfulness & child psychology. Besides the degree programs, she has completed an Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance Counseling from the NIPCCD (Delhi) and have undertaken a foundation course on Education of Children with Learning Disability from RCI. She has interned with VIMHANS and LNJP in Delhi. The knowledge base prepared her to work as a consultant at Umeed Child Development & Rehabilitation Center and as District Child Protection Officer. She looks at holistic mental and emotional well being of children and adolescents.
Her clinical interests include neurodevelopmental disorders and socio-emotional difficulties of children. She uses mindfulness therapy and other positive psychology approaches to assist children to have a better understanding of their emotions and experiences. She believes that every child has an innate potential to grow irrespective of their limitations. She has conducted mindfulness workshops for the school going children and adolescents to enhance their level of awareness and focus.

Dr. Kunal Kala

Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr Kala has completed postgraduate training in Psychiatry (MRCPsych, London); MSc, Manchester University; and a Diploma in mental health Law (Northumbria University) from England. He then worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the National Health Service (NHS) and later at an independent sector medium secure unit in forensic psychiatry.
His interest in preventive psychiatry and scientific understanding of Social and Emotional learning has led him to spearhead Circle of Life. He manages a rehabilitation facility in Punjab - MindPlus Retreat.

Rama Venkataraman

Parent Coach
Rama has done her B.A. in History with credits in Psychology from WCC ( Womens Christian College ) in Chennai. She also a post graduation B.Ed degree from SNDT Mumbai in Special Education. Rama comes with 17 years of deep and extensive experience of working with children and parents across behaviour change, curriculum and pedagogy. Her sense of passion and love for working with both children and parents have led her down many paths. She has conducted emotional quotient modules for children, a special educator who worked with children with Autism,Learning disabilities and cerebral palsy, co-created curriculum for early education centre, conducted parenting workshops ,conducted behaviour modification programs with teachers

She has worked with clients in Dubai , Sydney ,Bangalore, Chennai, NCR, Hyderabad, Nagpur , Pune , Mumbai and Ahmedabad. She has worked alongside with some the most well known people in the Educational industry such as Derek O'Brien , Onita Nakra and Geetha Muthiah.

Rama has been associated with well known and highly reputed institutions such as American School in Dubai , Dubai Autism centre , NIMH ( National Institute of Mental Health- Secunderabad), Chettinad group of schools in Chennai, Bishop School , St Mary's, St Vincent's and Army school's of Pune. Center point School in Nagpur. She has also conducted parenting workshops for condominiums and Rotary and the Gurgaon mom's group. She prefers coaching face to face in 1:1 / group workshop formats for public and corporates but also accepts requests for skype based sessions.

Dr. Lubhana Malik

PhD (DU), Family and Marital Therapy (NIMHANS), MSc. (UK)

I have been working in the field of marital and family problems and mental health for over a decade with specific experience of working with a range of clinical problems such as: relationship problems and parenting issues, family conflicts, depression, stress management, career/ life transition, low self esteem, anxiety, mood disorders, and alcohol and drug de-addiction. I work with adolescents, individuals, families and couples. I use an eclectic approach; a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioural, systemic and gestalt techniques to make sure that you receive therapy via a technique or combination of techniques best suitable for you.
My aim is to collaborate with you to develop your personal strategy and a suitable solution and, thus, enable you to improve your relationship/ mental health without infringing upon your core values or deeply held principles. I would encourage you to define your own objectives for coming for counselling; whereas I would be helping you achieve those objectives. Taarini Marwaha

Counsellor and Creative Arts Therapist

Taarini has recently completed her MSc in Counselling Studies with a Merit, from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK). She is also certified by COSCA in Counselling Skills. Using the Person- Centered and Psychodynamic approaches to counselling, her focus lies in integrating creative therapies such as music, dance and movement as her preferred form of treatment. She is also a Grade 6 Pianist from the Trinity College of London and a Grade 5 Vocalist from Rock School, UK. Previously, she completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Applied Psychology from Gargi College, Delhi University. Over the years, she has actively interned in various mental health organizations including the Sanjivini Rehabilitation Centre dealing with adults suffering from mental disorders. She has also worked with children facing social, emotional and learning difficulties.

Deepak Jha

Deepak graduated with B.Com. in Accounts from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Bihar. In 2014 he shifted to Delhi and worked for two years at Sameer Mittal & Associates, a C.A. Firm, where he worked and gained immense experience as an accountant. Deepak enjoys listening to music and enjoys comedy shows. His passion lies in accounting and administration and he hopes to be a successful accountant and businessman in the future.

Jyoti Singh

Jyoti Singh is a Graduate in from Delhi university and is currently Pursuing (2nd year ) from IGNOU. She has worked in sales for about four years as assistant manager and team leader. She is very passionate about her work and is an enthusiastic person. At Circle of Life, she is involved in help-desk services and as the center coordinator ensures timely appointments, follow-up activities related to psychological services, workshops, and support staffing that are to be optimized for high quality care offered at Circle of Life. Life is all about balance, and her hobbies are listening to music and reading books.
