Dr Renuka Dutta
Dr Dutta is a psychologist and offers research based psychology services to children, adolescents and their families at Circle of Life. She is formally trained from America in child-centered play therapy and child & adolescent appraisal. She has extensive experience in the field and has worked in various clinical and community settings. She offered part time consultation for ten years as the primary school counsellor at The British School, New Delhi. Dr Dutta was also accepted for a Global partnership program of the Department of Psychiatry (Harvard Medical School teaching Hospital, USA) at Boston Children’s Hospital. Clinically, in this program she observed services in psychiatry consultation service, school based mental health program, child protection services and specialty clinics related to behavioral medicine, neuropsychology and developmental disorders.
Developmental Psychologist and Parent Coach
Soumini’s passion for understanding and helping young minds has driven her to work in Mental Health for the last 10 years. She started as a Dance Teacher for children with Social Emotional Difficulties in a school in Bangalore, which motivated her to explore Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Her area of specialization has been Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Learning difficulties, Socio-emotional Difficulties and other Developmental Delays. She also works as a Parent Coach, helping parents cope with their daily struggles and celebrate their personal victories. Over the years she has conducted various workshops at schools and other organizations for children, teachers and parents on various themes ranging from Emotionally Intelligent Parenting (for parents), Child Sexual Abuse (for parents & teachers) and Building Empathy (for children). She has also in the past written teacher manuals for Learning First Publications.
Dr Kunal Kala
Dr Kala has completed postgraduate training in Psychiatry (MRCPsych, London); MSc, Manchester University; and a Diploma in mental health Law (Northumbria University) from England. He then worked as a Consultant Psychiatrist in the National Health Service (NHS) and later at an independent sector medium secure unit in forensic psychiatry.
His interest in preventive psychiatry and scientific understanding of Social and Emotional learning has led him to spearhead Circle of Life. He manages a rehabilitation facility in Punjab - MindPlus Retreat.
Clinical Psychologist, M. Phil
Ishhita is an RCI registered clinical psychologist, with an M. Phil. from Manipal University along with a Masters and Bachelors in Psychology from University of Delhi. She is trained to work with children, adolescents as well as adults. She has worked extensively with children of varying ages and cultural backgrounds, along with parents and has alleviated a diverse range of complaints and conditions. With her training and experience, she is equipped to deal with a variety of cases including clinical as well as interpersonal. She believes in the humanistic approach to therapy and uses an eclectic blend of therapies with her clients, with specific emphasis on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Art Therapy. She is known to communicate effectively with patients and adapt therapeutic techniques tailored for the individuals’ needs and personality. She is also an astute trainer and has conducted workshops for parents and children alike on a wide range of topics in schools as well as the clinical setting.
Dr. Soamya Arora
Consultant Psychologist & Mindfulness Expert
Dr. Soamya has a master’s degree in Applied Psychology and a Doctorate with specialization in mindfulness & child psychology. Besides the degree programs, she has completed an Advanced Diploma in Child Guidance Counseling from the NIPCCD (Delhi) and have undertaken a foundation course on Education of Children with Learning Disability from RCI. She has interned with VIMHANS and LNJP in Delhi. The knowledge base prepared her to work as a consultant at Umeed Child Development & Rehabilitation Center and as District Child Protection Officer. She looks at holistic mental and emotional well being of children and adolescents.
Her clinical interests include neurodevelopmental disorders and socio-emotional difficulties of children. She uses mindfulness therapy and other positive psychology approaches to assist children to have a better understanding of their emotions and experiences. She believes that every child has an innate potential to grow irrespective of their limitations. She has conducted mindfulness workshops for the school going children and adolescents to enhance their level of awareness and focus.

Ms. Sonakshi is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist working with individuals across all age groups and from varied socio-cultural backgrounds in order to reduce their distress, improve their well-being and quality of life. She uses an eclectic psychotherapeutic approach with an emphasis on Positive Psychology Principles and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. She has a Masters in Psychology from the University of Delhi and an M.Phil degree in Clinical Psychology from the prestigious Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences [IHBAS], Delhi. With her experience spanning over 4 years, she has worked extensively with the child and adult population and conducted numerous therapy sessions for the psychological management of various clinical disorders and interpersonal issues. She has previously worked as a psychologist with an NGO for individuals with Intellectual Disabilities and Autism. She believes that each individual has inherent strengths and abilities to cope with problems, which, with appropriate guidance and facilitation, can go a long way in building resilience and fostering personal growth.

I have been working in the field of marital and family problems and mental health for over a decade with specific experience of working with a range of clinical problems such as: relationship problems and parenting issues, family conflicts, depression, stress management, career/ life transition, low self esteem, anxiety, mood disorders, and alcohol and drug de-addiction. I work with adolescents, individuals, families and couples. I use an eclectic approach; a combination of psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioural, systemic and gestalt techniques to make sure that you receive therapy via a technique or combination of techniques best suitable for you.

Dr.Pulkit completed her PhD with a specialization in Positive Psychology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT- Delhi). She is certified in the field of Positive Psychology (Research, Education and Application in Community Health) from NIMHANS, Bangalore. Her doctoral research pertained to classroom based interventions among Indian school students, which saw her engage in research and implementation of programs and workshops across diverse school settings. Her core interests lie in the area of well-being and positive youth development. She has presented as well as published her research at various national and international platforms including the International Positive Psychology Association over the past few years. She is among the Founder Members of the National Positive Psychology Association in India. She received her Master’s (Psychology) degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh. Besides working in the academic domain, she also garnered exposure to the corporate setting during her stint as a Human Resources professional.
Creative Arts Therapist
Taarini has recently completed her MSc in Counselling Studies with a Merit, from the University of Edinburgh (Scotland, UK). She is also certified by COSCA in Counselling Skills. Using the Person- Centered and Psychodynamic approaches to counselling, her focus lies in integrating creative therapies such as music, dance and movement as her preferred form of treatment. She is also a Grade 6 Pianist from the Trinity College of London and a Grade 5 Vocalist from Rock School, UK. Previously, she completed her Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Applied Psychology from Gargi College, Delhi University. Over the years, she has actively interned in various mental health organizations including the Sanjivini Rehabilitation Centre dealing with adults suffering from mental disorders. She has also worked with children facing social, emotional and learning difficulties.
Neurolinguist and a Speech & Language Therapist
Meeta Samani (M.Phil. University of Augsburg, Germany) provides counselling and therapy for children's and adult’s speech, language, swallowing, and voice issues involving communication. Children’s developmental speech and communication difficulties/disorders like speech delay, speech block, stammering , voice crack, pitch & intonation, phonetics and phonology analysis. Treatment for swallowing and communication difficulties arising from various causes, e.g. congenital problems (such as cleft palate) or acquired disorders after a stroke or injury. She counsels children, parents and teachers helping them in social and cognitive communication problems and disorders. She has a rich experience of 11 years of working with Autism Spectrum children and with Educational institutes in Germany, wherein she conducted individual and group sessions with children, parents and schools.

Deepak graduated with B.Com. in Accounts from Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Bihar. In 2014 he shifted to Delhi and worked for two years at Sameer Mittal & Associates, a C.A. Firm, where he worked and gained immense experience as an accountant. Deepak enjoys listening to music and enjoys comedy shows. His passion lies in accounting and administration and he hopes to be a successful accountant and businessman in the future.
Jyoti Singh is a Graduate in B.com from Delhi university and is currently Pursuing M.com (2nd year ) from IGNOU. She has worked in sales for about four years as assistant manager and team leader. She is very passionate about her work and is an enthusiastic person. At Circle of Life, she is involved in help-desk services and as the center coordinator ensures timely appointments, follow-up activities related to psychological services, workshops, and support staffing that are to be optimized for high quality care offered at Circle of Life. Life is all about balance, and her hobbies are listening to music and reading books.
